Turns out that foul-mouthed, smelly, untidy, noisy workers are forcing one in two people to consider quitting their job, according to latest reports.
A poll of 120 people by website fish4jobs.com said personal hygiene was the main cause of friction, a close second was shouting, then messiness and annoying habbits (people that like tapping or clicking something)
Well, my reason for leaving <> was because idiots were all too abundant in management. I don’t think I’ve ever left a job because someone liked tapping on the desk or because they were messy. I don’t think I’d mind a messy officemate as long as they confined their mess to their side of the office
Many years ago a guy whos surname was “Hand” had a very annoying habit of tapping fast ALLLL day long. It drove everyone including me which sat two seats away nuts!!! People kept asking, telling and pleading to stop but he never seemed to. Many people relocated and requested to be moved, including me… I got moved thankfully!
I’m sure many people are unaware, but then when they are aware they would make the effort – or perhaps they are comfortable pissing the world off??
Having to work in close quarters with someone who has poor personal hygiene is tough. And then to confront them about it!
