Okay, so I thought “I want to twitter” … so I go to twitter’s website and click the Get Started – Join! button. And this page opens:
Now, given my recent experiences, my first port of call is clicking on the Terms of services link … and what do I get:
This is:
a) embarrassing for twitter
b) opening them up for sooo many lawsuits
c) just in general. bad
I think I will wait a while before twittering.
I checked the home page, and the TOS links to actual TOS from there – so, my question is: Why not from this page?

I suspect it’s either something to do with a changed page name, as sometimes happens in web design, or its a page where the filename of the TOS page was prewritten, but when they actually got around to scripting the TOS page, they saved the page with a different name, completely forgetting that they’d assigned the name elsewhere. Pages that successfully work were probably created after the TOS page was saved. Does that help?
yeah it does, thanks:)
I just found all of this funny, esp on the back of the last experience.
