@Josh Sadly, more than a year has passed since I first wrote this post (where the iPad was still very much the only decent tablet around), and since then the rise of the Android tablet has been absolutely phenomenal. Back when the Pandora was debuted, it was still pretty damned cool. Now? The tech has changed so much that it's not worth the effort anymore. Rather pick up a cheaper Android, which is also open-source and probably cheaper and better!

I just checked in with the Pandora console, and it's 500 bucks! 500 bucks for way outdated hardware. There are tablets coming out with dual core cortex a9 chips for the same or less.

hmmmmm $330....? three year waiting period...? well it costs as much as a netbook. it wont play any new gen games (3DS, PSP, PSP2....no DS either....so why would you get it? emulation? emulation is fine on all other legit and open source systems. why wouldn't you get a Caanoo($150)? or evan a dingoo($80?) or get a DS and a good flash card (still under $200 it runs Doom and Quake too.) it just looks cool. that's it. seems like a wash for only MAME and GBA emulation. this thing has suffered the pitfall of time. three or four years ago when this thing was announced it would have had a market. but now the competition is too far gone. another over-priced device that doesn't know what it is.

What the hell are you talking about?
The console hasn't even left the factories yet!
The only people who have access to them are the creators and a few selected developers. There are only about 20-30 that exist fully right now!

In short, the above person has either confused the Pandora with another console or he is a troll.

I had used this console but I was not satisfied with it's service. No doubt that lookwise it is good but if you say functionality wise then I will definitely not recommend this one to you. But if you are a normal user then it will be ok for use.
