Surfing on a Sunday … Oh lordy, what have we here:
Religion is the new social evil, if you’re in the UK.
A poll by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation uncovered a widespread belief that faith – not just in its extreme form – was intolerant, irrational and used to justify persecution.
The American founding fathers declared their country religion-free, only to give future generations the opportunity to embrace it whole-heartedly.
British history is littered with religious wars and now, they’ve had enough of religion.
Ironic, don’t you think?
And then a story covering the extent of white poverty in South Africa.
“How do you justify a situation in which a poor white child, who can only get his only meal of the day from a feeding scheme (being turned away) when they say, ’Sorry, you’re white and we’ll lose our subsidy if we help you’ ?”
This “silent problem” was “discovered” by … wait for it … JZ!
Yes, his PR agents are at it again. He’s now definitely, and without a doubt, becoming a man of the people … if you believe his PR peeps, that is. He got ANC presidency by focusing on black poverty; now he’s unofficially campaigning for South African presidency by spotlighting white poverty. I wanna know who his PR peeps are – they’re good!
Oh, and check the local news over the next couple of weeks; what’s the probability that this “social secret” will be covered by all media sources?
