This is a long article so rather than trying to shorten or reword, go have a read and come back to me with thoughts on it. I have a few comments though;
Women offenders would instead be held in small, secure centres where they could be closer to their homes and families.
If I was a Dad, I just know that I would feel that this is a bit discriminating!
She said: “For women who offend, prison simply doesn’t work. It is time to end the use of traditional prisons for women.
Hmmm… not sure about that?
